Retreats by The Lake at Camp La Llanada is located in Lake Wales, Florida, by the shores of the beautiful Tiger Lake, part of the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. Retreats by The Lake is located in the center of the Sunshine State, approximately 1 ½ hours from Tampa and Orlando by car and 3 hours from Miami.
We are available from the beginning of September until the end of May.
Our accommodations include lodges, cabins and a private house, with varying capacities ranging from 8 to 12 people. The total capacity for these types of accommodations is approximately 200 guests.
No, we do not supply linens, pillows, blankets, or towels. We recommend bringing a fitted sheet and a sleeping bag or blanket, at least one bath towel and a pillow.
Our food is healthy and generous and is served buffet or family-style in most cases. There is always a vegetarian option at each meal. We are happy to help design a custom menu to meet your specific needs, be it to meet a dietary concern or a special party or event.

Lake Wales Medical Center is located 20 minutes away, in Lake Wales.
In certain cases pets might be permitted, depending on your group and type of event. Please contact us to inquire.
Our whole property is designed to be handicap-accessible including appropriate pathways, ramps, etc. Moreover, there are 6 large cabins that are handicap-ready, including handicap-accessible showers and restrooms.
